GEODE: a hollow, sphere shaped rock lined with crystals.

The word geode is derived from the Greek word Geoides which means "earthy", "earth-like", or "from the earth".

Over time, a geode is formed when dissolved minerals seep into a hollow area and harden into an outer shell. The minerals continue to form on the inside walls of the shell, growing towards the center. It can take hundreds of millions of years for the space inside a geode to be filled, and many geodes remain partly hollow. From the outside, most geodes look like common rocks varied in size and shape, but when they are opened the sight can be breathtaking.

The crystals revealed within are varied and unique, each wonderful in their own way. Geodes and their crystals have been used for centuries to stimulate creativity and harmony within, as well as to release mental, physical and spiritual blockages.

As with geodes, human beings are filled with rare inner beauty. When we share our authentic selves, we are free.

GAIA: the belief that all living organisms directly interact with their organic and inorganic surroundings on Earth to form a synergistic, self-regulating, complex system that maintains and perpetuates the conditions for life on the planet.

Thus, the whole biosphere is alive in that Earth's life forms themselves are responsible for regulating the environments that make life possible. This system is regarded as a single organism that is affected by every action performed by those composing it. In other words, we are influencing everything as everything is simultaneously influencing us.

When we act from a place of love, the world will respond accordingly.

Similar to a geode, it may take years for us to reveal our true selves to the world in all of our beautiful glory. However, no matter where you are, there is constant growth and change happening inside you, all around you, all the time.

The body: constantly adjusting temperature, engaging senses, reacting to stimuli.

The mind: races, and becomes still. It wanders to the future, the past, and finally rests on the present (if only for a moment).

The spirit: soars like an eagle and sinks, too, like an anchor.

We are made to experience everything. We are here to experience it fully. So delve deeper, laugh harder, embrace pain, LET IT GO. Be real, be raw, and enjoy yourself.

This is a place to explore.
